Tonight’s 2022 World Cup final will be one for the record books. Will Lionel Messi, one of the most successful football players, finally add the trophy to his list of achievements. Or will France hold on too their title as current World Cup champions?
The 35-year-old has already made history in scoring in the 1,000th game of his career, as Argentina beat Australia 2-1 to qualify for the quarterfinals. Time will tell if the 7 time Ballon d’Or winner will be able to score in what will probably the most important match of his life. He has said that this would be his last World Cup appearance, adding to the aura that this match will create for him and Argentina.
